Anghraine

The very dubious YouTube algorithm brought me something I really enjoyed! It's this SPOP vid. Wouldn't have expected that I'd be really into an Imagine Dragons fanvid, but I really liked both the placement and pacing of the clips—especially the use and timing of one of my favorite scenes, Adora among the asteroids.

(I only tagged Adora because she's my fave and it's more about her than anyone else, but it actually does spend a lot of time on other characters as well!)

I finally caved and activated my tumblr account, since so much of what I do over here is picspamming + memes. But this is my fandom home. Anyway, the account is anghraine, of course.

So, fanvids. I've been meaning to do this for ages, and this isn't all of the ones I've liked, just some that caught my eye. I have a few for other fandoms, too (omg Romana I vids <3 <3 <3), but SW is so heavy on the imagery that it just seems naturally suited to vidding.

In happy-making news, the ace bigbang is going to happen for reals, only it's going to be BETTER -- a full-blown people-who-aren't-straight-or-cis bigbang. I already babbled at tulina and hl and biichan about it, but it's so awesome that I had to share with EVERYONE. Hmm, maybe somebody will put it on fandomcalendar and there'll be participants on the dw side? That would be cool! Anyway, that's a thing (an awesome thing!!).

Speaking of which, I was just glancing at the most recent ... events, and found something beautiful. OMG. I love OT3s and ship them across all my fandoms, and somebody's already volunteered for my very favourite one. Maybe I could get up the nerve to suggest a prompt? ...eh, probably not. (I get ridiculously nervous about these things! But still, a OT3 prompt is a thing of beauty.)
